Programs for Children

Church School: 9:15 - 10:15
Church School is provided for children 3 to 14 years of age on Sunday mornings. Godly Play is used with children fourth grade and under. Children fifth grade and up experience a Bible based curriculum on the symbols of Jesus. Godly Play is staffed by Linda Blades.

Worship: Children are encouraged to attend the beginning of worship with their families. A children's story is presented each week to complement the teachings happening in Church School or to educate the children about important events in the church.

Praise Place: Most children attend the beginning of worship with their families. Children may leave after the Time for Youth and attend a program appropriate for their age. It is usually a time for free play, crafts, and music.

Junior Choir: The Junior Choir under the direction of Marion Bryan meets during the Worship Hour. Children are welcome to join at any time during the year. They are invited to sing during worship many times throughout the year.

Youth Group: The  youth group meets every other Sunday at the Church. Activities have included bowling, work on the youth cabin, and arts and crafts.

Vacation Bible School: Vacation Bible School is held in August.

Sonic Boomers: The Sonic Boomers is a group of 30'ish to 50'ish year old (or young) people who gather for fellowship, special events, and good times.
